One-on-one work with an experienced educator makes a huge difference in the learner’s academic career. As academic coaches, we provide concierge tutoring services for preschool through adult learners. Belkin Tutoring fosters skill development with strategies designed to meet the learner’s individual needs. Alyse Belkin, along with our tutors, consult with parents, communicate with schools, and meet students where they are at academically to optimize their growth potential. Our services are comprehensive with learner’s growth being the priority.
Many learners are challenged with organizational and time management skills; these learners benefit from daily check-ins. The tutor will support the student in meeting academic expectations by checking if all assignments are current, plan for upcoming assignments, tests, quizzes, and projects, filling in planners, and sending emails/communication to teachers (support self-advocacy). The 10 minutes will be customized to develop strategies aligned with the learner's organizational needs.
At Belkin Tutoring students are matched up with a tutor to meet their academic needs. We are staffed with tutors in most subject areas. Additionally, we offer college entrance exam (SAT/ACT) test preparation support.
Belkin Tutoring offers enrichment programs. We customize these programs to cater to our learners. Some programs include crafts and creativity, math and literacy fun. Our preschool pods are experienced based learning. Our sessions are seasonal and we also offer mini-sessions during school breaks.
We offer group sessions. These sessions center around the content area and learning strategies. We cater to groups of students ranging from 2 - 5 students. Sessions vary from 1 -2 hours.
Services include, but are not limited to, attending school (i.e. IEP, 504 meetings), meeting with neuropsychologists and parents to review testing, meeting with psychologists regarding school accommodations and behavior plans, meet with parents prior to conferences, help parents with written communications.
